Coming hot on the heels of our #26 ranking in the Economist, our top 40 ranking for executive education and our highest ever ranking for the EMBA these represent the strongest rankings in the School’s history. The vet, the diplomat and the Class of 2010… |

The School welcomed 55 full-time and 92 part-time students to their first day of class last week. The full-time MBA continues to have a distinctly international flavour, with twenty-five different countries represented, making for rich and interesting classroom discussion. And with backgrounds ranging from engineering, to business, science, law, arts and medicine, the ambitions of the Class of 2010 are incredibly wide and varied. Read more

One the world's leading CSR thinkers, Kellie McElhaney (Haas School of Business), will talk at the Net Impact breakfast about the strategic alignment of corporate responsibility and brand. Following the breakfast, a day session will be run on topics such as future energy pathways, emerging banking practices, and not-for-profit funding. Places are limited - please register here

Are you interested in having a team of students from MBS assist your organisation on a project basis? |

During the February to April period each year, a number of MBA students at MBS are required to undertake a team-based project in which they integrate and apply various aspects of their MBA to a ‘real-world’ management problem.  These projects form the basis of a final term subject known as ‘Managing New Ventures / Integrative Projects’.   If you and your organisation are interested in participating, read more or contact me at s.d'souza@mbs.edu

Geoffrey David Allen AM (MBA 1969)
was made a Member in the Order of Australia for service to business, particularly in the area of corporate public affairs, through a range of executive roles with professional organisations, and to the community.

Dr. Ronald Cullen AO (MBA 1969) was made an Officer in the Order of Australia for service to public administration in Victoria through the development of innovative management practices and organisational change.
